Famous blogger Jaqueline Mikuta and her boyfriend Klemens have paid me a visit to get her hair cut and coloured...
Jaqueline described her impression and experience of sitting in the chair in front of me on her blog.
In the 4 hours the procedure took we had a great time. I really enjoyed talking to Mikuta.
I started parting her hair in sections and fixed them with chopsticks. She thought it was really funny - apparently she has never got her hair parted like this. I handpainted her hair to achieve the wanted "cool-balayage" look and added foil highlights in between to create more details and depth in her colour. After washing out the colour I put a toner over the highlighted parts to get rid of the too warm shades of blonde. Then I blowdried her hair with my Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer and trimmed her ends. Also I added layers to her haircut to get rid of the heavy looking parts...
Below you can see a little summary of what we did - thanks to the awesome pictures taken by Klemens White:
I finished the look with natural looking waves,
Mikuta described her experience and the end result like this:
"I’m super happy with the result, exactly how I wanted! I’m not always happy with the results after hair dressers because it just ended up so different from what I wanted, but this time it’s perfect :)"
Here is the final look of Mikuta's new hairstyle:
I am glad to hear that she is so happy and hope you enjoy her new hair as much as I do!
Thanks for trusting in me!
